Nominations Sought For Fourth Annual Pollo Tropical® Teachers Of The Year Awards

MIAMI, March 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Pollo Tropical is now accepting nominations for outstanding educators in the 23 counties it serves for the Fourth Annual Pollo Tropical Teachers of the Year awards.

The teacher with the most nominations in each participating county will be recognized and will receive Pollo Tropical coupons valid for one year of free meals at Pollo Tropical, plus a Golden Apple Award engraved with "Teacher of the Year." Additionally, the school in each county with the most teacher nominations will win a $500 Pollo Tropical donation to its student activities fund.

The Pollo Tropical Teachers of the Year campaign is part of the brand's emphasis on education in the communities it serves.

Nominations are accepted online at www.PolloTropical.com/MyTeacher. Enrollment in Pollo Reward$™ is required to nominate a teacher. Nominations must include the teacher's full name, school name, school address, school phone number and the subject and grade taught by the nominated teacher. Nominations will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. EDT on Friday, April 18.

All public, private and charter school teachers are eligible in the following counties:

• Florida: Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Osceola, Lake, Orange, Seminole, Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Duval, Lee, Collier, Alachua, Martin and Brevard
• Georgia: Cobb, Fulton, Forsyth and Gwinnett
• Tennessee: Rutherford, Davidson and Williamson
