CHICAGO, Jan. 25 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- With some help from the Elks National Foundation, the charitable arm of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, the North Las Vegas Elks will participate in the annual two-day Stand Down for Veterans Program. They will work to provide medical, dental, and counseling services, as well as clothing, housing and other necessities.
Veterans Outreach Project will be funded by an Impact Grant awarded to the North Las Vegas Elks by the Elks National Foundation. Impact Grants are the newest addition to the Elks National Foundation's Community Investments Program. They are competitive grants designed to help Elks make a difference in their community. This year, North Las Vegas Elks Lodge No. 2353 is one of 49 recipients nationwide to receive an Impact Grant. The grants range from $2,500 to $10,000.
