She was a 2016 recipient of Profiles in Diversity Journal's Women Worth Watching Award, and was named one of the 25 Influential Black Women in Business by The Network Journal in 2014. She was honored as one of Savoy magazine's Top 100 Most Influential Blacks in Corporate America as well as one of Savoy's Top Influential Women in Corporate America in 2012.
A graduate of Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism, Goode is an active member of the Milwaukee Urban League, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Milwaukee, the Arthur W.
