The two physicians bring more than three decades of combined experience to Minnesota's first multidisciplinary pain clinics
EDINA, Minn., Oct. 3, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Nura Pain Clinics, a subsidiary of the Capitol Pain Institute (CPI) family of practices and the Twin Cities' foremost multidisciplinary pain management clinic, announced today that Dr. Angelito Sajor and Dr. Owen Vincent have joined its team of pain management providers to help meet the growing demand for new patient availability across the three Nura clinics in Edina, Coon Rapids and Woodbury.
"We are thrilled to welcome Drs. Sajor and Vincent to the Nura Pain Clinics team," said Dr. Matthew Schocket, founder and president of Capitol Pain Institute. "Their commitment to prioritizing patient welfare and addressing the stigma surrounding chronic pain aligns perfectly with our mission. Our patients will benefit from their expertise in integrated treatment, both now and in the future."
Dr. Sajor joins Nura after nearly 22 years with a local pain clinic and brings with him vast experience in acute and chronic pain management, performing both interventional and comprehensive pain management care. With a strong focus on patient-centered care, Dr. Sajor is committed to tailoring chronic pain management to individual needs and preferences based on a therapeutic alliance between patient and physician.
"I believe pain management is not a one-size-fits-all area of medicine and I'm an advocate for integrated treatment approaches that include all areas of medicine to treat chronic pain," said Dr. Sajor. "Nura Pain Clinics offers comprehensive pain management that takes the whole patient into account, and I am looking forward to joining a team that is well-organized and has a strong reputation in the community."
Dr. Sajor completed his medical training at Far Eastern University in the Philippines and his residency training in anesthesiology and pain medicine at the University of Illinois in Chicago.
Nura also welcomes Dr. Vincent who has more than 10 years of experience in family medicine and primary care. He takes a holistic approach to pain management that considers both medical and psychological histories to most effectively and collectively treat chronic pain. Dr. Vincent also has a passion for helping patients develop healthy sleep habits, daily mindfulness practices, positive dietary choices and incorporating specific physical activities for better healing.
"While practicing primary care and needing additional resources for complex chronic pain, I referred multiple patients to Nura with consistently good results and patient improvement," said Dr. Vincent. "As I found myself doing more pain management in primary care, I decided to transition my practice to pain management entirely and Nura was my first choice for where I wanted to do so."
Dr. Vincent graduated from Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in Harrogate, Tenn., and completed his medical training through the NH Dartmouth Family Medicine Residency at Concord Hospital in New Hampshire.
Nura specializes in using minimally invasive interventional procedures to identify and treat the physical generators of pain, providing comprehensive care through the seamless coordination of medication management, physical therapy, and behavioral health services within a single medical practice. This is a critical advantage for patients who otherwise may receive fragmented pain management by multiple providers at multiple locations. For more complex chronic pain problems, Nura offers a full range of advanced implantable pain control options, including neurostimulation and targeted spinal drug delivery systems. Nura's multidisciplinary approach also aims to dial down the need for opioids to treat chronic pain.
