All sessions run from 5:30 to 7:30 pm with networking and refreshments from 5:30 until the workshops' prompt start time of 6:00 pm.
"The workshops are basic enough that new investors will be able to follow and learn a great deal, but broad enough that seasoned investors will also benefit from brushing up on these concepts," explains Tanzer. As a member of the Investment Strategy Workgroup at Gerstein Fisher, Tanzer works directly under the guidance of the firm's Chief Investment Officer Gregg S. Fisher, who founded the firm in 1993. The team oversees portfolio management, risk management, research, investment technology, trading, and more.
"We are really looking forward to this workshop series," Tanzer says, "Gerstein Fisher places a very high premium on research and education, and we want the clients we work with to be as informed as possible. But it takes a lot of time and energy to stay on top of all the latest research and information. This is a way we can share the most important points in a personal and interactive forum."
