Obama administration-appointee, Aneesh Chopra, joins Sōvyn as Advisor

Former U.S. Chief Technology Officer brings decades of healthcare, technology, policy, and innovation experience to the agency's strategic growth.

STAMFORD, Conn., Sept. 22, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Sōvyn, an internationally recognized health tech and life sciences communications agency, today announced the appointment of Aneesh Chopra to its advisory board. The appointment comes during a year of significant growth for the company. In June, Sōvyn acquired the Canadian digital agency Roketto to expand its capabilities in generative engine optimization (GEO), digital strategy, automation, and web design.

As part of the acquisition, Sōvyn, which was founded in 1998 as KNB Communications, launched a new name and brand identity. In August, the agency promoted Beth Cooper, JD-MBA, who led the creative development behind the rebrand, to Chief Commercial Officer.

After leaving the White House, Mr. Chopra cofounded CareJourney, a healthcare analytics platform later acquired by Arcadia.

As an advisor to Sōvyn, Chopra will provide strategic guidance on industry opportunities and the agency's continued growth, while leveraging his expertise and relationships across healthcare, technology, and policy.
