BOULDER, Colo., Oct. 8, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- As part of its ongoing efforts to empower users of all kinds to conduct sophisticated data collection and analysis projects, online survey software provider SurveyGizmo announced the launch of a new Free plan this week.
Featuring unlimited questions and unlimited responses, this new account type brings some of the most powerful software in the world within reach for anyone with an internet connection.
"More and more people are using surveys for all kinds of data collection," said SurveyGizmo's Marketing Manager Joshua Robitaille. "The question-answer dynamic is powerful and important, and with our new account we're setting that process free and opening it up to just about anybody."
To support an influx of non-paying users without raising their costs or lowering their customer service standards, SurveyGizmo has also launched a Community site. This dynamic collection of questions and answers offers around-the-clock answers for users who need help with a survey project.
According to Robitaille, free accounts will get unlimited access to the Community, while direct contact with customer support heroes will remain a benefit of paid account holders.
Taylor Morgan, the Customer Support Manager, said the response to the new community system has been overwhelmingly positive so far.
"Our support heroes are there to offer their insight as needed, but for the most part it's our users who are helping each other out," she said. "We knew we had amazing customers, but it's great to see them sharing their expertise on a daily basis."
After only a few weeks the SurveyGizmo Community boasts answers to hundreds of questions and an ever-growing library of tips, best practices, and examples.
The combination of free accounts and the successful launch of Community has allowed SurveyGizmo to dramatically expand its offerings without raising prices, something that CEO Christian Vanek says is a consistent goal for the company:
"Our software is remarkably powerful, but we've always wanted to keep it affordable too. Getting feedback and finding out what it really means -- that's important stuff, no matter what field you're in. Everybody who wants to should be able to run these kinds of projects," Vanek said.
SurveyGizmo invites those who are taking advantage of its new plan to tweet about their projects using #FreeYourSurveys.
Founded in 2006, SurveyGizmo is owned by Boulder-based software company Widgix, LLC, which also operates MarketerGizmo.com.
