Ogilvy PR Singapore Announces Ee Rong Chong Will be New Managing Director

SINGAPORE, Nov. 5, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Ogilvy Public Relations today announced that Ee Rong Chong will be the Agency's new Managing Director in Singapore. Currently serving as Deputy Managing Director in Singapore, she will succeed Andrew Thomas, who has been promoted to the role of President of Ogilvy PR, Southeast Asia. The changes will take effect on January 1, 2014.

Ee Rong, who joined the company more than 13 years ago, has held a succession of key roles in various markets, including Sydney and Kuala Lumpur, making her one of the most experienced PR operators in the Ogilvy network.

In recent years the Singapore business has tripled in size and added new practices like Social@Ogilvy, Ogilvy Impact for employee communications, Social Marketing, as well developing a new content and strategic planning division.
