MADRID, Feb. 17, 2017 /PRNewswire-HISPANIC PR WIRE/ -- Antena 3 Internacional adds to its content next Monday, February 20, to be repeated Sunday, February 26, with an exclusive interview with a Spanish soccer player who has one of the best winning records: Iker Casillas.
In one of the few interviews that Casillas has granted to the media, José Ramón de la Morena, a recognized sports journalist with the group Atresmedia, reviews the professional career of the former goalkeeper for Real Madrid and the Spanish Team, his time in Porto, as he has become the current leader of the Portuguese league, and his plans for the future.
From the Portuguese city, Casilla is sincere in remembering the sadness that he felt when he left the white club, 26 years after he started playing there, but he also recognizes the relief that he feels now: "I am under pressure, but less. With everything that happened in Spain one and one-half years ago, it is not at all the same."
With respect to his spot on the Spanish team, Casillas states that "the coach has made the decision to bet on another player and thus get rid of a problem." And he adds that he would never go to a tournament to be a substitute player.
In an in-depth interview, the Spanish player, who is back to playing at his best at C.F. Porto, has compliments for other big names in soccer, such as Cristiano Ronaldo – "he is the best in the world, along with Lionel Messi," Xabi Alonso, Keylor Navas and the current Spanish goalkeeper, Julen Lopetegui, among others.
The soccer player also revealed that he has signed up for another year in Porto, so he will continue to enjoy one of the most special stages of his life, along with television presenter Sara Carbonero and their two children.
