OnBase by Hyland Supports Superior Student Service at Southern Adventist University

CLEVELAND, Aug. 7, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Collegedale, Tennessee-based Southern Adventist University (Southern) recently selected OnBase by Hyland to support its campus-wide digital information management strategy. Southern will migrate to OnBase from Nolij, which was recently acquired by Hyland, and will deliver functionality and workflows, increase departmental efficiencies and support superior student service.

Southern has a combined enrollment of nearly 3,000 undergraduate and graduate students with a focus on nurturing a campus learning community that engages its constituents, and includes an emphasis on advanced technology. The simultaneous install of OnBase and conversion of critical documents will begin in the financial aid and student records departments, two high-priority, student-centric areas of campus.

After all data is converted to OnBase, the Southern information technology team has identified human resources and admissions as potential next steps in their enterprise deployment. Electronic forms, workflows and an integration with Southern's enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, Colleague by Ellucian, are being considered for phase two to enhance business automation workflow.
