The filings add to litigation that previously resulted in a $254,500 jury verdict for the firm's clients.

The new cases involving Floyd Ransom, Buu Luu, and Eva Chung join existing lawsuits involving Elizabeth Ruiz and Giselle Layson in San Joaquin County Superior Court.

Bite Marks May Appear After Guests Return Home

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, bed bug bite marks may take up to 14 days to develop in some people. Guests may therefore return home before noticing a reaction.

"Don't dismiss a possible exposure simply because you didn't see a bed bug during your stay," Virag said. "Keep your photographs, hotel records, and communications with the property. Tell us what happened. We will evaluate the evidence."
