SAN DIEGO, Oct. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Victorian Minister for Information and Communications Technology John Lenders today announced the launch of Online Services Corporation (OSC), a new business focused on delivering Microsoft cloud computing solutions. OSC is headquartered in the State of Victoria, Australia's capital city, Melbourne.

As the CEO of OSC, Karl Redenbach, also CEO of the fast-growing nSynergy Group, will create 60 new jobs as part of the new venture and promote Victoria's information and communication technology (ICT) expertise internationally.

"With increasing demand for cloud-based solutions following the recent announcement of Microsoft's Office 365, Online Services Corporation is well-placed to continue Victoria's dominance of the ICT market," said Lenders. "OSC has just established offices in San Diego, the UK and Shanghai, providing new export opportunities and showcasing Victoria's ICT expertise in these significant markets."

The State of Victoria is Australia's ICT capital with more than 2,000 jobs created so far this year, according to Lenders. The recent release of the $110-million Victorian ICT Action Plan will play a key role in increasing economic prosperity of the state of Victoria.

Redenbach's recent appearance on The Secret Millionaire series has increased awareness of his reputation as a leader in the ICT community along with his ground-breaking work as CEO of nSynergy Group.

"Launching our presence into the US and UK makes OSC the first truly global Microsoft partner to specialize 100 percent in the Online Services space — we are leading the pack," said Redenbach.

"OSC will also be taking a leading role in helping shape Microsoft's future cloud strategy through representing the Asia Pacific region on its global partner advisory council. This is another vote of confidence in Victoria with our highly skilled workforce, competitive tax system and a very supportive government," said Lenders.
