OpTier Continues Record Revenue Growth in 2010 Through New Markets and Expanded Product Line

NEW YORK, Feb. 17, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- OpTier™, the leader in Business Transaction Management (BTM) for the enterprise, today announced 85 percent annual revenue growth in 2010 through sales in new and existing market segments. The company has 50 percent of its customer base in Global 1000 companies, with many in the top 100 of that list. OpTier continues to broaden its customer portfolio, including leading U.S. insurance companies, tier-one service providers in EMEA and Asia Pacific, and financial service firms ranging in size from tens of thousands of employees to just a few hundred employees. The analyst community again recognized OpTier this year for its leadership and vision in BTM and performance monitoring software.

Expanding Markets

OpTier continues to grow its footprint geographically and in new vertical markets. In addition to covering the U.S. and EMEA, the company successfully expanded its customer base in Asia Pacific. Along with securing new customer wins in existing markets such as manufacturing, financial services and insurance, OpTier saw growth in the telecommunications market directly and through a partnership with Amdocs. The partnership agreement enables Amdocs to resell OpTier BTM™, offering its customers visibility into all end-user transactions to avoid revenue losses from order fall out, improve customer satisfaction and reduce customer churn. Through Amdocs and directly, OpTier was able to add new tier-one telecommunication customers such as O2, a business division of Telefonica S.A.

Solidifying its leadership in IT management software, the company rounded out the year with recognition from leading analyst firms and industry awards.
