PALM SPRINGS, Calif., Jan. 27, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- While most other cancers are declining, oral cancer continues to rise, affecting over 43,000 Americans in 2014 alone. Due to late stage discovery, oral cancer kills one American every hour. This year, the Academy of Laser Dentistry (ALD), The Oral Cancer Foundation (OCF) and OralID are partnering to raise awareness of Oral Cancer, and offer Free Oral Cancer Screenings for the public. "The ALD is eager to improve public awareness of the importance of early detection by offering free oral cancer screenings during our meeting", said Gail Siminovsky, CAE, executive director of the ALD. For your Free Oral Cancer Screening on Saturday, February 7 from 11:00 – 1:00 PST, come to Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa for an exam that could potentially save your life, 41-000 Bob Hope Drive, Rancho Mirage, CA 92270, Telephone 760-568-2727.
