Orange #blogbus Schedule - Social Networks, Apps and Games

Less than a week to go before the start of the Orange Blogger Bus Tour and we continue to take a closer look at the exciting schedule that lies ahead.

After revealing to you our various meetings on the Friday 21st yesterday, let's take a look at the busy schedule which awaits us on the Thursday, as our bloggers will divide themselves into small groups to cover as much ground as possible.
In the morning, we'll be heading over to the Valley to meet with Flipboard, a social-network aggregation, magazine-format application software available on several platforms (Android, iOS). How they operate, what evolutions are to be expected and how they intend to cope with the competition are some of the questions we shall be asking. In the meantime, another group will be finding out what Ifeelgoods are up to, a company offering a platform that manages digital goods promotion offers, redemption, social sharing and customer service.
Next up we'll be delving in the gaming sphere with visits to Badgeville and Game Closure. Badgeville provides a service platform that enables businesses to apply behavior-influencing techniques, such as gamification, across their web and mobile experiences, and was named in Forbes' list of America's 100 most promising companies in 2011. On the other hand, Game Closure offers an HTML-based multiplayer game development environment for customers to create games in JavaScript that run on various devices. We will therefore be able to take a look at two different aspects of the gaming spectrum.
In the afternoon, the team will be back in San Francisco to meet with some of the most exciting startups of the moment. Kwarter CEO and co-founder Carlos Diaz will talk to us about his mobile application factory while another group will be hearing about the democratic virtues of App.net, an ad-free social network.
We will then move along to some familiar names of the social media scene with a visit to SocialCam, the successful mobile video sharing platform, before we all happily check in to Foursquare, so you'll know exactly where we are! Visits to Tactilize, who provide technology that enables publishers to create quality apps for tactile devices, and Idea Couture, a strategic innovation & experience design firm, will put an end to our busy day and we'll take some time to share all our thoughts with you before a well-deserved dinner downtown.
