Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt Announces First Store in New York City

NEW YORK, Jan. 9, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt (Orange Leaf), a self-serve, choose-your-own-toppings frozen dessert chain, has announced the opening of its first store in Manhattan.  To celebrate its grand opening on Jan. 24, Orange Leaf has partnered with Cookies for Kids' Cancer, a national non-profit organization committed to raising funds to support research for new and improved therapies for pediatric cancer, the leading cause of death by disease for children under the age of 18. In four years, Cookies for Kids' Cancer has granted nearly $4 million to research. Orange Leaf will donate all proceeds from its grand opening day to Cookies for Kids' Cancer.

Headquartered in Oklahoma City, Okla., the first NYC store will be located at 608 Second Avenue, between 33^rd and 34^th Streets.  With more than 200 locations nationwide, Orange Leaf allows its customers to make their own desserts by selecting from 16 frozen yogurt flavors, including no-sugar-added, gluten-free and lactose-free alternatives, and choosing from a generous selection of do-it-yourself toppings.
