Oranj Named to 2019 List of Best Places to Work in Financial Technology

CHICAGO, Feb. 28, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Oranj, the industry's first free, end-to-end wealth management software, has been named as one of 2019's best places to work in financial technology. This annual survey and awards program, presented by SourceMedia and Best Companies Group, is designed to identify, recognize, and honor the best employers in the financial technology industry. Oranj, a growing Chicago-based startup was recognized for their communication practices and unique employee perks such as VIP tickets to the highly-popular music festival Lollapalooza. Companies recognized on this year's list operate in and serve companies and consumers in a wide range of financial services including banking and mortgages, insurance, payments and financial advisory.

Companies from across the United States entered a two-part survey process to determine who would make it onto SourceMedia's Best Places to Work in Financial Technology list. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company's workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process, analyzed the data and determined the final ranking.

FOSTERING EMPLOYEE GROWTH

2018 was a year of growth for Oranj. The firm rolled out an extensive recruiting program to Chicago-based schools such as the University of Illinois, DePaul, Illinois Institute of Technology, and others.
