Susan Baron joins ORC International's Consumer practice as Senior Vice President in the New York office. Bringing more than twenty-five years of market research experience for leading CPG companies, Susan will manage the Consumer market research team and will be responsible for the development and execution of client projects. Her research specialties include market profiling, segmentation, retail and shopper insights, product/concept testing, brand and communications and brand equity. Prior to joining ORC International, Susan worked extensively with a wide variety of consumer goods and service companies to provide insightful solutions to business issues. She held senior positions at research firms Synovate, TNS and advertising agency Young & Rubicam.
The Consumer team also adds Eve Oster as Vice President in the New York City office. Eve, along with Susan, will be responsible for both business development and management of existing client relationships within the CPG arena. Eve brings two decades of research experience to ORC International and has extensive experience in various research areas, particularly product testing and customer satisfaction research in the CPG, publishing and financial services categories. Eve also specializes in quality control management and team training/development. Prior to joining ORC International, Eve was Vice President at Ipsos for five years, leading all U.S. research in the foods category for the company's #1 global client.
ORC International's Healthcare practice welcomes Kris Klein as Vice President. Kris brings twelve years of research and client-facing experience to ORC International, and will be responsible for developing critical relationships with key market research, product development and marketing contacts at client companies. Most recently, he served as Vice President, Client Consulting with NielsenBASES, and speaks regularly at industry events including Pharmaceutical Management Science Association, DTC Perspectives, EyeforPharma Forecasting Excellence USA, and most recently Center for Business Intelligence where he presented "Managing the Impact of the Ever Evolving Patient in Forecasting New Products." Kris is based in the New York City office.
Laurie Gelb, MPH, has joined the Public & Civic Services practice in Seattle as a Vice President. Laurie brings three decades of research, operations and marketing experience to ORC International, including departmental administration at the MD Anderson Cancer Center, new product commercialization at Aventis Pharmaceuticals, health outcomes research at WellPoint and senior roles at three leading survey research firms. She also publishes and presents on topics from social media to destination marketing. Most recently, she served as a brand strategist and copywriter at a Delaware marketing and technology firm, where her clients included the State of Delaware Economic Development Office.
