Origins Behavioral HealthCare Acquired By TRT Holdings, Inc.
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla., May 9, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Origins Behavioral HealthCare today announced it has been acquired by TRT Holdings, Inc., a diversified private holding company owned by the Rowling family of Dallas that owns other successful brands, including Omni Hotels & Resorts and Gold's Gym. This major acquisition in the substance use disorder treatment industry will mean more robust treatment options for people struggling with addiction. Origins currently offers age- and gender-specific residential treatment centers in West Palm Beach and Vero Beach, Florida and South Padre Island, Texas. Origins will continue operating its programs in Florida and Texas, while expanding its presence elsewhere.

Together the organizations will identify additional strategic acquisitions to augment current facilities and locations, and will also seek ways to continue building on Origins clinical model while pioneering measurements for tracking recovery outcomes and success.
