Outrider receives SOC 2 Type 2 certification to support scaling of large enterprise autonomous distribution yard operations

Additionally, Outrider employs secure software development lifecycle best practices to safeguard safety-critical autonomous functions, such as obstacle detection and braking. The certification also validates that Outrider has the processes to monitor anomalies, detect threats, and ensure teams respond in a timely fashion and follow security protocols consistently.

Outrider's SOC 2 Type 2 certification was achieved in accordance with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) standards for System and Organization Controls (SOC) for Service Organizations (SSAE 18). To maintain its SOC 2 Type 2 certification, Outrider must pass yearly audits conducted by an accredited external auditor by demonstrating high levels of security and compliance.
