Outten & Golden Announces Four New Attorneys Have Joined the Firm

Amy Biegelsen is a 2015 graduate of the American University Washington College of Law. She has an M.A. in Journalism and Public Affairs.  Before joining the firm as an associate, Ms. Biegelsen was a law clerk with The Employment Law Group and with Outten & Golden.   Ms. Biegelsen is a member of the Whistleblower Retaliation Practice Group in the New York office.  She represents employees in individual claims and litigation and in negotiation in all areas of employment law.  She is admitted to practice in New Jersey and is pending admission in New York.

Robert Fisher has joined the firm as an associate in the New York office and is a member of the firm's Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) and Class Action Practice Groups.  Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Fisher was an associate with Judd Burstein, P.C.  He graduated from New York University School of Law in 2012.  He has an M.S. in Biomedical Engineering.  Mr. Fisher is admitted to practice in New York, California, and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. 

Kerry C. Herman is a 2014 graduate of Northeastern University School of Law, where she was a Dean's Scholar.  Before joining the firm as an associate, Ms. Herman was an associate with Sapir Schragin LLP and a law clerk at Vladeck, Waldman, Elias & Engelhard, P.C.  Ms. Herman has joined the Executives and Professionals Practice Group in the New York office, where she focuses on employment agreements and related matters. She is admitted to practice in New York.

Emily Naphtal is the recipient of O&G's NYU Public Interest Fellowship.  Before joining the firm as an associate, Ms. Naphtal interned with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Office of the General Counsel.  A 2015 graduate of New York University School of Law, Ms. Naphtal is a member of the firm's Class Action, Discrimination and Retaliation, Sex Discrimination and Sexual Harassment, and Family Responsibilities and Disability Discrimination Practice Groups. She represents employees in class and individual litigation and in negotiation in all areas of employment law. She also serves on the Firm's Public Interest Committee, helping to oversee O&G's commitment to pro bono representation of low-income clients who otherwise could not afford lawyers for their employment-related problems and claims. She is admitted to practice in New Jersey and is pending admission in New York.
