Over 45 Full Sail Alumni Were Credited on 18 Oscar-Nominated Projects at the 97th Annual Academy Awards

Additionally, two Full Sail University graduates are nominated for Oscar Awards of their very own

WINTER PARK, Fla., Feb. 18, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Full Sail University is pleased to share that 47 alumni were credited on 18 nominated projects across 21 categories at the 97^th Annual Academy Awards. Additionally, two of its graduates were individually nominated for an Academy Award of their very own in the category of "Sound." Full Sail graduates, Gary A. Rizzo (1993 Recording Arts) was nominated for his work on The Wild Robot as Re-recording Mixer, as well as Nancy Nugent Title (1999 Recording Arts) was nominated for her work on Wicked as Supervising Sound Editor. 

Alumni were represented across categories such as Film Editing, Visual Effects, and Documentary Feature Film, to name a few. The 97^th Annual Academy Awards is set to take place on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles, and broadcast live on ABC. This year's ceremony will be hosted by Conan O'Brien.
