Ozmo Devices Announces New CEO Bill McLean to Take Reins of Wi-Fi PAN Market Leader

PALO ALTO, Calif., Feb. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Ozmo Devices, the leading provider of low-power Wi-Fi Personal Area Network (Wi-Fi PAN) solutions, announced today that semiconductor industry veteran Bill McLean has joined the company as its Chief Executive Officer.  Bill has an extensive career in wireless, including Wi-Fi and GPS technologies and a successful track record at start ups as well as larger established companies.

Bill was co-founder and CEO of GloNav, a fabless semiconductor company that manufactured GPS receivers for the cellular market.  He successfully sold the company to NXP (part of ST Ericsson) for $110 million in 2008. Previously, Bill was President and CEO of Anadigm, a fabless semiconductor company producing field programmable analog arrays (FPAAs). Additionally, Bill has served as President, U.S. Operations of Parthus Technologies which is dual listed on the London Stock Exchange and NASDAQ.  He joined Parthus from Authentec, a biometrics firm that he assisted in spinning out from Harris Corporation, where he was Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer.  At Harris Semiconductor, he served as Vice President and General Manager where he assisted in their launch of Wi-Fi products.  He began his career at Texas Instruments.
