P3GM Expanding Energy Conservation Efforts in Napa Valley

NEW YORK, July 9, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Working with P3 Global Management, Sensity Systems and Pacific Gas and Electric, Robin Baggett and Eric Sklar, co-founders of Alpha Omega Winery located in Rutherford, CA are leading collaborators and advocates for innovative ways to improve their community, contribute to a healthy environment and enrich Napa County's economic advantage.

Cooperatively P3GM and Sensity Systems assisted Alpha Omega in the conversion of fluorescent and metal halide lighting at their winery to LED lighting. Including rebates from PG&E, Alpha Omega was able to finance the conversion from electricity saving with no out of pocket capital required. P3GM acting as their finance partner and technology management consultant provided the upfront capital and will recover their investment solely from the proceeds generated from energy reduction and cost savings. The LED conversion will eliminate 90,858 pounds of CO2 greenhouse gases per year from the environment.

Sensity Systems was selected as the technology partner as they enable municipal and commercial lighting owners to link energy efficiency and cost savings to the improvement of business goals as diverse as public safety, parking control, asset management, and retail analytics.

Eric Sklar stated, "As a former City Councilman, I am proud to lead this effort and hope LED lighting conversion becomes widely adopted by surrounding communities and other business operators". Next P3GM and Sensity will be installing lighting sensors that can detect CO2 levels in the air as well as identify inventory in AO's cellars through embedded video capabilities. These Smart LEDs will also have dimmers that dilate the lights based on activity or set time schedules, with an overall improved quality and saturation of light that contributes to AO's safety initiatives. Mr. Sklar concluded, "P3GM eliminated capital requirements associated with the conversion, freeing up investment resources to deploy back into our core business".
