PA Table Games Revenue In 2013-14 Fiscal Year Increases 2.6%

HARRISBURG, Pa., July 16, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board today released its monthly table games revenue report for the 12 Commonwealth casinos. While the $57.8 million revenue total in June 2014 was a 2.8% decrease in table games revenue compared to June 2013, table games revenue for the Fiscal Year showed an increase.

The June figure boosted total table games revenue during the 2013-14 Fiscal Year to $731 million, an increase of 2.6% over the previous state Fiscal Year 2012-13.  Total tax revenue from table games during Fiscal Year 2013-14 was $105 million.

The Board also is providing a comparison of total gaming revenues for all Fiscal Years since casino gaming began in November 2006.  Pennsylvania casinos operated with just slot machines from November 2006 until July 2010 when table games were added.

Total combined revenue from casino gaming during this past Fiscal Year was $3,051,764,960 compared to revenue of $3,141,994,593 during Fiscal Year 2012-13.  Combined tax revenue from slot machines and table games for the 2013-14 Fiscal Year was $1,346,502,222.
