CHICAGO, Jan. 25 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- With some help from the Elks National Foundation, the charitable arm of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, the Page Elks will purchase and install a new steel building for the second-hand shop that funds the local Domestic Violence Shelter. Currently they have to store large items outside, where they get destroyed by the weather.

Family Bargain Center Expansion Project will be funded by an Impact Grant awarded to the Page Elks by the Elks National Foundation. Impact Grants are the newest addition to the Elks National Foundation's Community Investments Program. They are competitive grants designed to help Elks make a difference in their community. This year, Page Elks Lodge No. 2498 is one of 49 recipients nationwide to receive an Impact Grant. The grants range from $2,500 to $10,000.
