Panama Diamond Exchange Awards Honorary Membership to Diamond Expert Ehud Laniado

The PDE (Panama Diamond Exchange) has awarded a certificate of Honorary Lifetime Membership to Ehud Laniado. The award was granted to Laniado by Eli Izakhoff, chairman of the PDE board of directors, and by PDE president Erez Akerman, on behalf of the PDE, at the Exchange's official grand opening. The event took place in Panama City and was attended by senior officials of the Panamanian government and respected members of the global diamond industry.
The certificate of merit and honorary membership was awarded to Laniado for his contribution of knowledge and expertise to the diamond industry. In his acceptance speech, Laniado congratulated the opening of the PDE and its great importance to the industry.
The PDE is the first and only diamond exchange in Latin America and the Caribbean. It was established to serve as a center for trade in diamonds, gemstones and jewelry in South America and to serve as a bridge for suppliers and purchasers from all over the world who previously had limited access to the region. The Panamanian Diamond Exchange is recognized by the World Federation of Diamond Bourses.
