Launched this week, PANDORA's first iPhone app gives consumers the ability to share their favorite PANDORA fine jewelry pieces via Facebook, e-mail or by adding it to their personalized PANDORA Wish List online. Designed to inspire individuals no matter where they are located, the PANDORA iPhone app is an interactive gift finder right at your fingertips, with features such as a PANDORA store locator.
Consumers will have instant access to all of PANDORA's affordable luxury collections, including customizable charm bracelets, rings, earrings, necklaces and watches.
Bracelet Building Facebook Application
The PANDORA Bracelet Designer, a one-of-a-kind bracelet building Facebook application, offers PANDORA's more than 150,000 passionate Facebook fans the ability to select charms from PANDORA's Moments Collection to create a personalized charm bracelet and share their unique bracelet designs with PANDORA enthusiasts around the world.
Since the application launched in early October, the page has been identified as one of Facebook's emerging applications by InsideFacebook.com, which said it is "... a good example of how a higher-end retailer is using Facebook to create a social buying experience."
Consumers can select from seven different sterling silver or 14K gold bracelet options and more than 800 charms. The application simultaneously tracks the cost of each charm selected along with the total cost of the bracelet.
When done designing their personal bracelet, consumers can find the nearest PANDORA store location(s) and print or download a picture of the bracelet with the list of selected charms to take to the store or share with others as a gift idea. Consumers also can post their newly-created PANDORA bracelet to their Facebook status and Twitter page.
Once a bracelet is designed, consumers can share comments and "like" designs of other fans as well as view international and local top ten charts listing the bracelet designs that have received the most "likes" and bracelets with the most comments. The PANDORA Bracelet Designer also allows users to share their personal story in a unique way by assigning emotional values such as romance, hope or respect to each charm.
PANDORA launched its global Facebook page earlier this year and since, more than 150,000 fans from throughout the world have come together on Facebook to share their personal stories and commemorate life's unforgettable moments with PANDORA jewelry. Nearly half of all fans are from the United States.
