• 37% of smart thermostat owners identify as Early Majority tech buyers, up from 26% in 2020. They are practical buyers, expecting value from their purchases, rather than seeking out new tech like Early Adopters and Innovators.
• 32% of smart thermostat owners view energy insights in their thermostats today, but this information is likely limited to just HVAC use.
