-17-Year Veteran to Manage Detroit, Ann Arbor Offices-
DETROIT, March 8, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Paul Choukourian, a veteran real estate executive with nearly two decades of experience, has been tapped to head Colliers International's Detroit region as managing director. Choukourian will oversee the Detroit and Ann Arbor, Mich. offices.
Choukourian has a wealth of experience across a wide range of commercial real estate market segments and specialties, including brokerage, acquisitions and sales, development, project management, property marketing, energy efficiency and business management. Choukourian will be based in the Detroit office.

Choukourian most recently served as the director of leasing and market development for KIRCO in Troy, Mich., where his responsibilities included marketing and leasing of the firm's vast portfolio of office, industrial, healthcare properties and vacant land. Prior to that, he was director of leasing and marketing at Liberty Property Trust of Tampa, Fla., responsible for the firm's three million square-foot portfolio of flex and industrial properties.
