PCA SKIN New SPF Products Receive New Skin Cancer Foundation Recommendation Seal

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Jan. 25, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Each of the five new daily sun protection products from PCA SKIN has received the new Seal of Recommendation from The Skin Cancer Foundation.  This updated seal, announced December 13, 2010, requires scientific verification of the sunscreen's UVA protection in addition to the existing UVB requirement.  Additionally, there will now be two Seals of Recommendation categorized by intended use—Daily Use and Active.

PCA SKIN products are among the first to receive the special endorsement from The Skin Cancer Foundation—the nation's organization of record for skin cancer protection and prevention—further proving each product's efficacy. This new set of standards for The Skin Cancer Foundation Seal of Recommendation program is intended to address innovations and advancements in sun protection over the past decades.
