Pearson and MABECS Collaborate to Open New PTE Academic Test Center in Malaysia

Pearson has today announced the opening of its test center for the delivery of PTE Academic in Petaling Jaya, in association with Malaysian British Educational Cooperation Services (MABECS) - one of the largest UK educational representatives in Malaysia.  The test center will offer frequent testing sessions for PTE Academic increasing the sessions currently available in Malaysia.

PTE Academic is a computer-based English language test which measures the core skills: listening, reading, speaking and writing. The new test center at MABECS will test students who need to prove their level of academic English when applying to study at institutions abroad.

PTE Academic is accepted by universities and colleges worldwide, as well as the UK Border Agency (UKBA) and the Australian Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) for student visa applications. Students can register up to 24 hours before a testing session and receive their results typically within 5 business days.

PTE Academic is a popular choice among students around the world who need to take an English language test, particularly because of the fast turnaround times - from booking the test to receiving results - and because it prepares students to use their English skills in an academic setting.
