Pegasus TransTech Announces Frank Adelman as Chief Executive Officer

TAMPA, Fla., Oct. 28, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Pegasus TransTech, a leading provider of electronic revenue cycle, document management, and invoicing solutions to the transportation industry, announced today that Frank Adelman has been named President and CEO.  Mr. Adelman assumes this position as part of the company's long-term succession planning and replaces Bob Helms, who is retiring from his position as Chairman and CEO to pursue other interests and spend time with his family.

Mr. Helms joined Pegasus TransTech in 1999 as a member of the Board of Directors.  Under his leadership, Pegasus TransTech was named the 2012 Small Business of the Year by the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce.  Mr. Helms was also named the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce's Outstanding Leader of the Year in 2013.  Mr. Helms will remain a consultant and advisor to the company. 

Mr. Adelman joined Pegasus TransTech in 2004 and has led the company's efforts to increase market share and drive revenue growth for the company's transactional, "shipment-to-cash" solutions utilized by leading transportation companies.  He has more than 30 years of transportation industry experience, including more than 20 years in executive leadership roles.
