David Bodamer has expanded his role at Penton as Editorial Director for National Real Estate Investor and will now serve as Executive Director, Content & User Engagement for the Penton Waste and Sustainability and Commercial Real Estate Group. Mark Hickey re-joins Penton as the new Waste & Sustainability Group Sales Director.

Bodamer has overseen Penton's National Real Estate Investor since 2011 and has covered the commercial real estate sector since 1999 for publications including Retail Traffic, Commercial Property News, and Shopping Centers Today. His writings on real estate have also appeared in The Wall Street Journal's online real-estate news site, and he has won multiple awards from the National Association of Real Estate Editors. Bodamer was also a past finalist for a Jesse H. Neal Award. In his new role as Executive Director, Content & User Engagement, Bodamer will manage editorial efforts across all of Penton Waste Industry and Sustainability Group's properties and events, with a focus on digital innovation. He is based in the New York office.
Hickey brings 30 years of business-to-business media sales and management experience to Penton, including leadership of Penton's Telephony. He has managed print, digital, marketing services and conferences in a variety of industries - telecommunications, data networking, natural & organic foods and pharmaceuticals - in roles from territory management to group publisher.
