NEW YORK, March 18, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Penton's Design Engineering & Sourcing Group continues to expand its reach, welcoming two new team members and broadening the role of Huson Media to represent several additional brands in Europe.

Shannon Alo-Mendosa joins the group as Regional Sales Manager. She is tasked with representing Electronic Design, Microwaves & RF, Defense Electronics, and Power Electronics in the U.S. Northeast and Southeast, as well as Eastern Canada. Alo-Mendosa has an extensive background in B2B advertising and multimedia, most recently as VP of Sales at UBM's - MedTech Media Group, and prior to that as Strategic Sales Director at UBM's Electronics Media Group. Alo-Mendosa has also served as Publisher and Custom Solutions Sales Director at companies such as PennWell and CMP. Shannon Alo-Mendosa will report to Tracy Smith, Managing Director, Sales.

Joining the Source ESB team is Regional Account Manager, Nemanja Jokanovic. He will be based in Irvine, California and will handle accounts in the West Coast area. Nemanja (pronounced "Neemanya") is a graduate of California State University where he received a B.A. in economics. For the past two years he has been an internal sales representative for Adapt Automation Inc. and has led sales projects for medical, automotive, food, and aerospace automation production lines and equipment.

In addition to handling the Machine Design and Hydraulics & Pneumatics brands, Huson Media will now also represent Electronic Design, Microwaves & RF, Power Electronics, and Defense Electronics.
