Judges recognize 37 companies for their outstanding support of financial advisor success from among 95 finalists
NEW YORK, Sept. 29, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Penton's WealthManagement.com, the leading digital resource for wealth advisors, has announced the winners for its 2015 Industry Awards, the first awards program to honor outstanding achievements by companies and organizations that support financial advisor success. Thirty-seven winners were named from among 95 finalists. Nominations were submitted in the following categories: Asset managers, broker/dealers, custodians, disruptors, insurance, non-custodial RIA support platforms, social media, TAMPs, technology providers, and thought leadership.
Charles Schwab and Envestnet were the big winners of the night, each receiving three awards for various initiatives. Advent, Betterment Institutional, Prospera Financial Services and TD Ameritrade each walked away with two awards. Among the other well-known names receiving awards were Cetera, Fidelity, J.P. Morgan, Merrill Lynch, Morningstar and Raymond James.
A panel of judges made up of top names in the industry determined the 2015 award winners. Winners were judged based on quantitative measures of their initiatives—such as scope, scale, adoption and feature set—along with quantitative measures such as innovation, creativity and new methods of delivery.
