People Generation Brings Largest Lantern Festival To U.S.

HOUSTON, April 28, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The 2015 Magical Winter Lights, founded and produced by People Generation Global Communications, will debut in Houston this winter from November 20, 2015 to January 10, 2016. The 52-day festival will become one of the largest holiday lighting events in Houston, and the largest lantern festival of its kind to ever take place in the U.S.

People Generation's partner, one of the top lantern companies in Zigong that is also known as the "Lantern Town in the South Kingdom", will architect more than 100 lantern sets at the 2015 Magical Winter Lights festival. With a joint investment of more than $10 million by our partner, Sichuan PG Salient Cultural Trade Company, the festival will set the precedence in terms of scale and design of all lantern festivals ever hosted in the U.S.

The festival will feature seven fascinating themed sections including Magical, Europe, America, Asia, Oceania, Africa and the Animal Kingdom. The America section will also display lantern sets that Houstonians and Texans can easily relate to, including their hometown sports teams, Western stockyards and the Houston skylines.

Magical Winter Lights also stands out by being the first lantern festival to experiment with interactive lantern sets. Festival goers will get to enjoy live performances as part of the lantern display or walk inside of the delicate lantern sets that bring out an experience beyond a visual feast.
