PEP BOYS EXPANDS ITS SERVICE FOOTPRINT INTO U.S. NAVY BASES
PHILADELPHIA, Aug. 5, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Pep Boys, a leading automotive service provider, announced today its contract with the Navy Exchange Service Command (NEXCOM). Under the contract, Pep Boys plans to operate 14 of NEXCOM's automotive service centers located on U.S. Navy bases across the country. This transition, which will be implemented on a rolling basis, will bring Pep Boys' trusted service to military personnel and their families.
The newly converted locations will be rebranded under the Pep Boys name, continuing a legacy of quality service that dates back to the company's founding by Navy veterans Manny, Moe & Jack. This expansion reinforces Pep Boys' ongoing commitment to supporting those who serve, providing convenient, reliable automotive services directly on base.

NEXCOM, which operates Navy Exchange retail stores and services on U.S. Navy bases around the globe, awarded Pep Boys as its new automotive service provider for its authorized customers, which includes active-duty service members, retirees, and their families in these 14 U.S Navy base locations.

- Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story, VA
- Stennis Space Center, MS
- Naval Air Station Jacksonville, FL
- Naval Station Mayport, FL
- Naval Air Station Pensacola (Corry Station), FL
- Naval Air Station Pensacola (Aviation Plaza), FL
- Naval Air Station Whidbey Island, WA
- Naval Base Kitsap-Bangor, WA
- Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, HI
