Perfecto Mobile Receives Funding from Vodafone Ventures to Expand Its Mobile Handsets and Applications Testing Business

TEL AVIV, Israel, June 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Perfecto Mobile, a leader in remote and automated testing of mobile handsets, applications and services, today announced that Vodafone Ventures has made a strategic minority investment in the company, joining Carmel Ventures and Vertex Venture Capital in funding Perfecto Mobile to further develop its Perfecto Mobile Handset Cloud mobile application testing software. 

The Perfecto Mobile Handset Cloud helps developers to eliminate bottlenecks in launching new mobile applications and services by providing remote access to real mobile devices and an efficient automation environment to test, certify and monitor mobile services on real handsets. Perfecto Mobile's Handset Cloud allows developers to test their apps on an actual mobile device rather than an emulation environment only. By allowing developers to access mobile phones through a secure IP connection and using a standard PC, the Perfecto Mobile Handset Cloud allows developers to test their apps on various networks over the internet and incorporate this process into their QA, porting and deployment cycles

Perfecto Mobile's Mobile Handset Cloud service is deployed in Europe and North America and will soon be expanding to Asia, Africa and Latin America. In addition, the company markets its solutions and services to the entire mobile community including mobile operators, handset vendors and mobile developers.

Vodafone pioneered the implementation of a private Vodafone Handset Cloud, powered by the Perfecto Mobile technology, as a service for developers of Vodafone 360 widgets as well as other developers to validate their widgets and applications on pre-launched and post launched handsets.
