Petmate® Showcases Newest Products At SuperZoo 2015

The company will unveil its latest items from the popular Jackson Galaxy, Dogzilla, Fat Cat and Zoobilee Collections, offering a variety of products that foster the bonds between pets and pet parents.

Among this year's highlights, Petmate will unveil the newest products from the exclusive cat product line developed with renowned cat expert and animal advocate Jackson Galaxy, star of the Animal Planet's "My Cat from Hell." The Jackson Galaxy Collection by Petmate includes interactive and solo play toys, scratchers, kickers, wands, tunnels, comfort bedding and more, while speaking to natural cat behaviors – hunt, catch, kill, eat, groom and sleep.  

Available to consumers for holiday 2015, the new products include:

• The Jackson Galaxy Comfy Cabana XL offers a safe sleeping place for cats. With a removable super plush foam pad and second back opening for observation or quick escapes, cats will feel comfortable and at home in the cave-like dwelling.
• Indecisive cats can lay a variety of ways in the Jackson Galaxy 2-in-1 Bed. The versatile bed cinches up into a cozy hideaway or lays flat, allowing for cats to stretch out.
• The Jackson Galaxy Laser Air Wand, features a unique removable laser with an elastic band that fits snugly on the pointer finger and has an on/off switch. Best used for cats with air pursuit interests, cat owners can switch to the retractable feather for a satisfying hunt.
• The all new Jackson Galaxy Ground Toys accompany the Jackson Galaxy Ground Prey wand, which features a telescoping wand and interchangeable toys that allow cat families to direct interactive play. Ball and socket joints create a realistic movement that resembles ground prey. The links can be added or removed to create different sizes and movement. Available in three different colors: orange, green and blue; and four different animals: snake, iguana, squirrel and mouse.
• Designed to encourage a cat's need to stalk and attach to its prey, the Jackson Galaxy Refillable Twisted Kicker includes a sisal midsection featuring an opening with a removable Velcro pouch. Add Jackson Galaxy Organic Catnip, made and packaged in the USA, to the pouch whenever the scent diminishes to promote tooth, gum and digestive health.
• Add Jackson Galaxy Organic Catnip to the Jackson Galaxy Toy Marinater to create catnip infused toys. Simply add the catnip to the silicone base, insert the mesh bag with a cat toy, replace cap and squeeze. The Marinater is great for quick bursts of catnip scent and works on all toy materials: plush, canvas, rubber plastic, polyester and more.

In addition, Petmate expands its rugged Dogzilla® toy line to collars and leads, bedding and durable, plush Invaders.  Dogzilla® toys and accessories are created from materials designed for a rugged lifestyle and appeal to a variety of dogs.

Available to consumers in fall 2015, the line includes:

• The new Dogzilla® Collars and Leashes are equipped with a solid rubber hand hold and cushioned handle, providing comfort and control while walking a "puller" or training your dog to walk next to you. The collars and leashes are available in assorted colors: royal blue, red, hot pink, black, and orange.
• Dogzilla® Bedding features high-loft recycled polyester fiber fill and durable rip-stop fabric. The beds are available in two color combinations: black/red, blue/gray; and three different styles: lounger, pillow and gusset.
• Play into a dog's wacky and crazy side with the new Dogzilla® Invaders. Seven new plush characters are made of durable textured polyester material with thick black piping, to prevent early tearing and fraying, and squeakers included.

Petmate's Fat Cat® Collection, thoughtfully designed playtime companions to make people and pets laugh, unveils long awaited new products including their Fat Cat Finimals and Fat Cat Plumpies toys.  The Fat Cat Finimals feature animals made to look like fish, with characters including cowfish, dogfish, lionfish and more.  The Fat Cat Plumpies are an inspired take on the loveable round-shaped animal safari cartoons, purposefully overstuffed to look charmingly spherical.  Both collections are made from heavy duty canvas and include floppy parts and fun squeakers.
