NEW YORK, Feb. 26, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- PetPlace and Pets Best Insurance are excited to announce the launch of a new initiative, "The Heroic Hearts Collective" to recognize, celebrate, and reward pet rescues throughout the United States. Five winning rescues will each receive a $1,000 cash donation, 50 standard microchips, one universal microchip scanner, and a feature story on Petplace.com.

"The unwavering dedication of pet rescues deserves to be celebrated for the life-changing work they do for pets and their communities," said PetPlace President, Sam Watson. To nominate a rescue, simply visit petplace.com/heroic-hearts to complete a simple online form which asks for: the name of the nominated rescue organization, contact details, a brief description of the rescue organization's achievements over the last year, and an optional photo may be uploaded. The contest closes March 21 at 11:59pm ET and winners will be contacted and announced between April 7-11, 2025.
