PGC Endoscopy Center of Excellence, LLC Acquired by Physicians Endoscopy

PHILADELPHIA, March 11, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Physicians Endoscopy (PE), along with the physicians of Philadelphia Gastroenterology Consultants (PGC), are pleased to announce on January 31, 2015, the two organizations finalized a joint venture relationship.

PE, leader in the development and management of GI single-specialty ambulatory surgery centers, acquired a majority interest in PGC Endoscopy Center of Excellence, LLC, making this their 34^th ASC. This strategic partnership was designed for two organizations to maximize their expertise by working together to define the future delivery of GI services in the Philadelphia market.  

PGC Endoscopy Center of Excellence is a two-room ambulatory surgery center providing over 4,500 procedures annually. The center opened for operations in 2007, is Medicare certified, State licensed, and AAAHC accredited.
