Pharmapack North America Show to Relaunch in 2015

SANTA MONICA, Calif., Sept. 18, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Building upon the successful global Pharmapack brand, content producers at Pharmaceutical & Medical Packaging News (PMP News) and Pharmapack Europe are partnering to relaunch Pharmapack North America (PPNA), June 9-10, 2015, at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City.

The realigned PPNA will follow the Pharmapack Europe model, bringing its highly successful European format to the North American audience. Featuring a special conference venue and a networking area directly on the show floor, PPNA is designed to be the must-attend event for North American pharmaceutical packaging suppliers and buyers in 2015.

As in years past, PPNA will co-locate with the successful Medical Design & Manufacturing (MD&M) East and EastPack events, adding crossover business opportunities to a broader packaging audience. In 2014, decision makers from 9,268 unique company facilities conducted 87,874 project development meetings with 1,273 exhibiting companies during the co-located East Coast event.

New for 2015, PPNA will take place in the River Pavilion at the Javits Center. Located on the fourth floor, the pavilion offers convenient access to the co-located MD&M East and EastPack shows, while maintaining a separate, dedicated space of 22,500 square feet in a glass enclosure overlooking the Hudson River.

As part of the 2015 relaunch, PPNA will also introduce new features that enhance its experience and celebrate innovation. Modelled after the successful European Pharmapack event, PPNA will host the Innovation Gallery for the first time in the U.S., which will honor the most innovative developments and designs in the field of packaging and delivery systems for medicinal and healthcare products. This new feature will be located on the show floor and will highlight the latest pharmaceutical packaging and drug delivery projects that launched in 2014, and in the first half of 2015.
