Physicians Interactive Named One of Best Places to Work in Illinois by Daily Herald Business Ledger

LIBERTYVILLE, Ill., May 8, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Physicians Interactive (PI) was named one of the 2015 Best Places to Work in Illinois on Wednesday, May 6, at The Daily Herald Business Ledger Annual Awards Recognition at the Oak Brook Hills Resort & Conference Center. Companies from across the state were evaluated, with selections based on employee surveys, workplace policies, best practices and demographics.

The honor is awarded to select companies every year by The Daily Herald Business Ledger in partnership with the Human Resources Management Association of Chicago (HRMAC), the Illinois Chamber of Commerce, the Workforce Boards of Metropolitan Chicago, MRA-The Management Association, the Greater Oak Brook Chamber of Commerce and Best Companies Group.

The combined scores determined the top companies and the final rankings. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process in Illinois and also analyzed the data and used their expertise to determine the final rankings.

To be considered for participation in the program, companies had to fulfill the following eligibility requirements:

• Have at least 15 employees working in Illinois
• Be a for-profit or not-for-profit business or government entity
• Be a publicly or privately held business
• Have a facility in the state of Illinois
• Be in business a minimum of one year
