Pizza Studio Opens Eighth California Location In San Diego

CALABASAS, Calif., July 31, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Pizza Studio announces the opening of its newest location in the Kearny Mesa area of San Diego.  This latest opening marks the 8th California store to open with others throughout the country.  Since its first opening in 2013, Pizza Studio has become one of the fastest-growing pizza concepts in the country and has signed development agreements with several experienced multi-unit operators for more than 216 units across the country with several more in the works.

Pizza Studio offers customers the opportunity to "Create Your Masterpiece™" from a wide assortment of highest-quality ingredients including a choice of crusts, specialty sauces, premium meats, fresh and roasted vegetables.  Additional offerings include signature "Starving Artist" Pizzas, each offered at only $5.99,  Chopped Salads, Fresh Oven-Baked Cookies and an assortment of beverage options.

The Kearny Mesa Pizza Studio immediately follows the openings of two additional locations in New York and Alaska that have significantly expanded the brand's footprint and confirmed the scalability and wide appeal within the United States.  The New York location is operated by Apple Metro who also operates the highest volume Applebee's in the country.  The Anchorage location is at 1255 Muldoon Rd. across from the library and the Bronx location is directly across the street from Fordham University at 444 E. Fordham Rd.
