Pizzo & Haman Joins LeClairRyan; Adds Innovative Workers Compensation Practice and Bolsters Firm-Wide Corporate Practice

RICHMOND, Va., Oct. 10, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- LeClairRyan has announced another expansion with the addition of 23 workers compensation and corporate professionals nationwide through a combination with law firm Pizzo & Haman. 

Joining the national law firm as shareholders are Christopher L. Pizzo and Benjamin "Clark" Haman. The team also includes nine senior counsel, three counsel and nine legal support professionals.  

The team has deep experience in a broad range of corporate matters, as well as in the management, design and implementation of national counsel programs for carriers and third-party administrators (TPAs), including a specialty in the supervision of high-volume workers compensation claims.

Additionally, in his corporate practice, Pizzo serves as counsel to clients in diverse industries such as private equity, employee staffing, managed care, IT services and insurance, advising them on operations, growth, transactions, mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance, litigation and risk management matters. His corporate experience also includes the structuring and negotiation of significant debt and equity financing transactions and the resolution of diverse employment-related matters across the country.
