Planet Fitness Inverness and Planet Fitness Roebuck Showcase New Equipment and Refreshed Facility

BIRMINGHAM, Ala., July 27, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Planet Fitness Inverness and Planet Fitness Roebuck are reopening their doors after upgrading the facilities and outfitting the clubs with new equipment. The clubs celebrated the recent renovations in June with a planned $5,000 donation to Birmingham Police Athletic Teams.

Created in 1970, the Birmingham Police Athletic Teams brought together city officials, community leaders and the Community Affairs Committee (CAC) of Operation New Birmingham, and was designed to bridge the gap between the city's police and the underprivileged youth. The Birmingham Police Athletic Teams touch thousands of students each year through sport activities and community involvement.

Inverness club members now have access to new, state-of-the-art strength equipment including dumbbells, a 30-minute workout circuit, cable towers and resistance machines. Roebuck club members now have access to new, state-of-the-art cardio equipment including treadmills, elliptical, steppers, rowers and a PF360. Members at both clubs will also notice updated LED lighting throughout the club.

Both clubs are open Monday at 5:00am through Friday at 9:00pm and on Saturday and Sunday from 7:00am-7:00pm. The Inverness club is located at 168 Inverness Plaza and can be reached at 205-408-0020. The Roebuck club is located at 9118 Parkway East and can be reached at 205-208-0414.
