Planet Fitness Opens New Judgement Free Club In The Wall Street District Of Manhattan

NEW YORK, Sept. 16, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Planet Fitness, the innovative health club franchise known for its Judgement Free Zone^® and friendly prices, today announced the opening of a new club in the Wall Street district located at 25 Broadway.

A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held on Monday, September 16 at 12:30 p.m. Danni Allen, the winner of the most recent season of NBC's The Biggest Loser, will be at the event from 12:00 p.m. through 2:00 p.m. to help Planet Fitness celebrate the occasion and share her inspirational story.

Now through October 10, people can join for just $1 down and then $10 a month. Planet Fitness prides itself on offering an affordable membership and a Judgement Free Zone^®, where members are welcomed by a comfortable, non-intimidating environment. Each club also features a "Lunk Alarm," a purple and yellow siren on the wall used to enforce the policy of no grunting, dropping weights or judging others.

The Wall Street Planet Fitness is 30,000 sq. feet and will offer more than 100 brand new cardio machines each with its own flat screen television, new fully equipped locker rooms with day lockers and showers, massage chairs*, a 30-minute express circuit, Hydro-massage beds* and a Total Body Enhancement booth*. The club will be open 24 hours Monday through Friday, and 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
