NEW YORK, Oct. 29, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Plated, a leading e-commerce startup that delivers ready-to-cook meals via subscription service, announced today the appointment of Sally Genster Robling, Principal, Robling Advisors, to its board of directors, effective immediately. Ms. Robling joins the Plated board as its first independent director.

Ms. Robling founded Robling Advisors in 2014. Most recently, she was President of the Birds Eye Division of Pinnacle Foods. Prior to joining Pinnacle she served as CMO at American Standard (Trane) and was the General Manager of the Beverage Division, and a senior sales and marketing leader at Campbell's. She began her career in food in 1982 at Kraft.

Ms. Robling is a graduate of Princeton University and holds an MBA from the Darden School of Business. She serves on the Share Our Strength Advisory Council and Business Today Board of Directors.
