Plated Kicks Off 2017 With Debut Of Android App And Expanded Meal Options

NEW YORK, Jan. 30, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Plated, the premium meal-kit service that delivers recipes and ingredients to create and enjoy delicious meals and personal dinner experiences, announces the launch of its Android app as well as the expansion of its meal plans to serve more people.

The new Plated app for Android allows users to more easily plan, create and share their meals the way they want. The Android app builds on the success of the Plated iOS app that launched in 2015. Both of Plated's apps are currently available to download here and here. The apps provide an unmatched user experience with the following capabilities:

• Choose and swap any combination of 11 recipes each week
• Adjust delivery day and number of dinners on a weekly basis, or opt to skip a week
• Access and follow recipes step-by-step while cooking with in-app timers
• Rate and review dishes
